BULK MAIL PERMITS

Central Mail Services holds a permit (#45) with the U.S. Postal Service to send regular and nonprofit bulk mail. The permit is available for use by all University departments. We deliver Permit 45 mail to the Post Office and maintain an account to pay the postage due on it. Do not deliver your permit mail to the Post Office; it must go through Mail Service and have the proper forms signed and submitted. When you send permit mail to us, include a requisition that has your nine-digit mail code written on it. Address the requisition to Central Mail Services, MBSB, and state how many pieces are in the mailing. If you wish to reduce paperwork, include the mailing instructions on your Printing requisition and send a copy of that requisition to Central Mail.
