Audit Certification and Financial Status Questionnaire

One of our responsibilities as a recipient of federal funding is to ensure that any funds we pass on to a sub-recipient adhere to federal guidelines.  To help us to better evaluate the internal controls of our sub-recipients, we are implementing an “Audit Certification and Financial Status Questionnaire”.  This questionnaire will only be required for sub-recipients (individuals or entities) that are not U.S. accredited institutions of higher education.

While the use of the questionnaire can begin immediately, it will not be required until April 1, 2011.  Any PREQs that are initiated on or after this date must include the questionnaire as an attachment or the PREQ will be returned to the initiator.
