If your rented equipment needs repair...
In some cases, equipment is serviced under an extended warranty, and departments may contact the vendor directly if a problem arises. Some repairs may be made on site, while others may require that the item be shipped to a depot for service. Most of the time, the easiest way to handle repairs is to contact Equipment Rental. We will replace your item with a like model or loan you a machine while we take care of the repair.

However the repair is handled, we pick up the cost of any normal service and factor it into our rates, which are based on the purchase price of the equipment, an amount for administrative overhead, and an allowance for equipment maintenance and repairs. This covers repairs due to equipment failure or malfunctions both during and after warranty periods.

The warranty agreements in effect with outside vendors and the allowances we set aside for time and material repairs do not cover damage sustained from equipment being dropped, thrown, kicked, sat upon, or otherwise subjected to cruel and unusual punishment, including attempts to feed it liquids of any kind. Repairs necessitated by these or other similar events may be charged back to the department responsible at the time the damage occurs.
