ATTENTION HAWKEYE FOOTBALL FANS!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hawk Room at UI Surplus will officially open for business on Thursday, June 25th, at 10:00 am. The Hawk Room will be selling overstock clothing items including sweatshirts, tee shirts, polo shirts, and shorts, actual game jerseys, and coach's apparel at rock bottom prices. Come in and visit the Hawk Room to take advantage of these special items, and get prepared for the fall football season. These items will make great gifts for that special Hawkeye fan.

UI students and staff may now purchase items at Surplus with their University of Iowa ID card (sorry, this does not apply to Hawk Room sales). Charges will be applied to their U-bill.

Please visit the "new" University of Iowa Surplus. See our new and improved computer sales area now located on the first floor. You will find our store organized and clean. Check us out, you will notice the difference.

Note: Medical and scientific equipment is now sold through Heartland Recovery, in North Liberty.

University Surplus sells equipment that UI departments no longer need and recycles items that cannot be reused. We are dedicated to selling equipment at a fair market price. Delivery of items is available within the Iowa City area for a $30 dollar per truckload fee. Surplus also sells items on ebay. Check the link at left to see images and place bids.

Surplus removes unwanted equipment from departments; returns as much equipment as possible to other departments on campus; resells as much of the balance as possible to the public; recycles as much of that balance as possible through demanufacturing; and reduces the amount of equipment waste that is sent to the landfill.

HOURS
Surplus is open to the public on Thursdays, from 10am-5pm., for all sales - furniture, computers, and general merchandise. Surplus is open to University of Iowa departments from 9am-1pm on Wednesdays.
