The mission of Capital Assets Management is to maintain accountability for all capitalized assets of the University and provide timely reports and data to all levels of University management, Federal agencies, and State agencies.

Physical Inventory Process Change
Beginning in January 2011, the physical inventory of moveable equipment will be conducted by an external consultant, Hirons & Associates. The Capital Assets Management Office will continue to play a key role in interacting with University departments and Hirons & Associates. Please note that this change applies to the physical inventory of moveable equipment only. Departments will continue to perform physical inventory of art work, software and untaggable assets.
