Performance Management happens every workday, not just at an annual review. In Part 1, supervisors learn the 7 steps necessary for conducting meaningful performance reviews. Suggestions for how to manage different levels of performance (high, average, and poor) will also be discussed. In Part 2, the 7 tests of just cause will be reviewed as well as the steps for progressive discipline, including when it would be appropriate for supervisors to discipline staff.

- Were the rules, order, and penalties applied consistently and without discrimination?

- Participants will understand Performance Management Roadmap - 7 steps and how to integrate these principles into a meaningful performance management system.
- Supervisors will learn tips for supervising High, Average, and Poor performers including looking at the language to use in actual reviews.
- Participants will review the 7 tests of just cause.
- Participants will learn the steps of the progressive discipline process and how to implement it.
