Objectives:
- Examine the 5 main competencies of Emotional Intelligence
- Self-Awareness

- Set a short-term goal in one of the five competency areas.
- (Working in small groups) discuss three case studies that illustrate the various ways emotional intelligence impacts our ability to be effective at work. Discuss possible strategies and potential outcomes.
- Participate, observe and/or debrief a simulated committee meeting on the topic of parking allocation. The group leader will stop and start the action, so we can discuss “EQ” responses.
