This session is designed to help search committee members utilize diversity recruitment best practices and emphasizes the University’s Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity Statement of Policy and Purpose.
- Identifying targeted diversity recruitment resources
- Tools and strategies for assessing and screening diversity experience
- Identify and utilize diversity screening best practices to select Professional & Scientific staff and Faculty
- Demonstrate the use of effective screening and selection criteria to evaluate commitment to diversity and/or experience working with diverse populations through the participation in a mock search committee meeting.
