Members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community face unique circumstances when it comes to planning for their financial future. That’s why it’s especially important to learn the facts and take proactive steps now to help protect against many of the uncertainties you face—so you can look to the years ahead with the confidence that comes with working toward being financially protected.
Objectives:
- Assessing where you want to be financially and where you are now.
- Addressing what may change or get in the way, in conjunction with what is recognized at a state level, and what is not recognized at a federal level in regards to same-sex marriage.
- How you can prepare for the "things that could get in the way," and making your money work for you.
