Most everyone uses digital text such as PDFs or Word documents on a daily basis. However, these types of documents can cause difficulties for people with disabilities who use reading technology to access documents. There are some simple steps that can be taken to ensure that these documents are accessible to all. This session will look at how to create accessible PDF and Word documents. Participants will get a chance to both see how these documents are created and practice through hands-on activities.
