The purpose of this course is to provide departmental IT Support Staff the information necessary to ensure that all proprietary University data has been reliably removed from a system before it leaves the control of the department.
The course focuses on inter-departmental transfers, selling, trading-in or disposing off any University owned digital equipment. The primary objective of the presentation is to draw attention to and maintain the confidentiality of Federally regulated or otherwise sensitive information.

- Familiarization/Exposure with relevant University IT Policies
- Processes and Procedures - the who, what, when and how
