Do you work with Master File Keys, better known as MFKs? The MFK is the “key” to understanding how funds are managed. A Master File Key contains 11 discrete elements that are always numeric. By understanding the elements that comprise an MFK you will have a better understanding of how it works with fund accounting and why it is important to you and your unit, department , division or college. This course will enhance your understanding of the MFK and the elements that comprise the MFK.
