Welcome to UI Learning and Development....
An Information and Education Destination!
Since
1847, The University of Iowa has had a long tradition
of excellence in education. Every year approximately 28,000
students interact with faculty and staff to develop and grow
in their chosen field of study. UI Learning and Development,
a unit of Organizational Effectiveness, continues this tradition
by providing professional development services and training
opportunities for individuals and regional corporate entities.
For University staff and faculty, there are many learning opportunities that will support your professional development and growth and are aligned with our core values of Excellence, Learning, Community, Diversity, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility. Look for classroom instruction on leadership issues for managers, frontline supervisors, human resource professionals, and office professionals. And be sure to fully utilize our just in time resources with Learning Online with SkillSoft including Books 24x7® and our resource center.
Corporate and business entities can take advantage of our one day seminars through Rockhurst University Continuing Education Center, which bring in nationally recognized speakers on a variety of workplace topics. In addition, we offer half-day workshops facilitated by expert campus leadership. In addition, learners everywhere can learn online with the ContinueToLearn with SkillSoft E-learning program. All external programs are offered at low-cost rates that make learning affordable and accessible. Please check out our services soon!
