Two target indicators reports and the 2000 annual report are available to faculty and staff members upon request.

Implementing the Strategic Plan: An Annual Report on Meeting Targets, 1999-2000 is the final indicators report for the five-year Achieving Distinction 2000 strategic plan. By tracking targeted indicators and progress indicators, the University was able to gauge its annual performance and make better decisions about where to place priorities and resources.

The University’s 2000 annual report—Iowa’s Imprint: Border to Border—features programs that extend to every corner of the state and affect every county, from educational offerings to health services to arts outreach to economic development. Short news items highlight achievements made by faculty, staff, and students during the 1999-2000 fiscal year.

Accompanying the annual report is 24 Indicators for 2005: An Annual Report on Implementing the Strategic Plan. As a gauge of progress toward institutional goals, the University community has challenged itself to achieve targets under these indicators by 2005. These objective milestones will mark advances under the Univer-sity’s third five-year strategic plan, New Century Iowa: Bridges to the Next Horizon, 2000-2005.
