The Iowa Institute of Hydraulic Research (IIHR) has temporarily moved, due to renovations, from the Hydraulics Lab (HL) to the Brady Building, on the corner of Madison and Burlington Sts. Mail should continue to be addressed to the Hydraulics Lab (HL). Campus Mail and the U.S. Postal Service will deliver all mail addressed to HL to the Brady Building location. IIHR faculty and staff anticipate moving back into the Hydraulics Lab
in December 2001. The University of Iowa Staff Council invites P&S and MSE/C staff to join President Mary Sue Coleman for a discussion session. Participants are asked to bring lunch (beverages will be provided), questions, and ideas from noon to 1 p.m., March 20 in the Seebohm Conference Room, 283 EMRB. advance of the event. The 2001 edition of the Universitys Operations Manual is now available. New to this edition are policies on Flexible Scheduling (III-24), the Records Management Program (V-17.3), and the Emeritus Faculty Council (I-2.8(2)), as well as revisions of the Clinical Track policy (III-10.9) and the Information Technology Services policy (VI-3). The 2001 edition is the last printed edition of the Operations Manual. As of January 2002, official University of Iowa policy will be articulated solely through the Operations Manual web site (www.uiowa.edu/~our/opmanual), where you will continue to find the most current statement of policy.
