Benefits review seeks input

A review of the University Benefits Office in Human Resources is now under way as part of the University’s ongoing effort to evaluate and improve its departments and services. The review focuses in general on the operation of the office and in particular on the services provided by the office. The review does not involve options available in the benefits package nor any of the insurance plans.

The Benefits Review Committee is seeking comments from the University community regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of the office, as well as suggestions of ways in which the office might better serve the University, its faculty, and staff.

Committee members and their departments are: Diane Denneny, rehabilitation therapy; Charles S. Drum, campus communications; Carol Fethke, economics; Judie Hermsen, Facilities Services Group; Suzanne Hilleman, UIHC staff relations; Tracy Reis, accounting services; Ann Rhodes, general counsel (chair); and Anne Tanner, University Communications and Outreach.

Comments and suggestions may be sent by e-mail to benefits-review@uiowa.edu or by campus mail to Charles S. Drum, 100 OPL.
