Staff Charter Committee selections made

The University of Iowa charter committees are composed of faculty, staff, and students and are established in an effort to assure that University-wide services and activities will be carried out in the best interests of education and society. Each University committee acts in an advisory capacity within the area assigned to it. Staff appointments are selected by the Staff Council Committee on Committees. Each year applications are mailed to all eligible staff for open positions on the charter committees.

This year the committee reviewed more than 100 applications for the various positions. The appointments are then recommended to President Coleman for confirmation.
