July longevity awards presented

In July 2000, Staff Council implemented a service recognition program, the Longevity Award. Longevity Award winners receive a certificate and letter of appreciation from the President’s Office, issued during their anniversary month and distributed by their HR unit representative.

Award recipients as of July 2001, and their current departments, are listed below.

25 years
Don Hanson, pharmaceutical care; Myrna Lou Karsten, nursing services; Joyce Murphy, sport, health, and leisure studies; Steve Slezak, Broadcasting Services; Sarah Smith, ophthalmology; Francis Valainis, social services; Susan A. Zollo, medicine administration.

30 years
