WRAC offers fall groups The Womens Resource and Action Center (WRAC) announces the following discussion and support groups for fall:

available to the public. To download the report using Adobe Acrobat, log

Printed copies can be obtained by calling (33)5-5168. The Main Librarys Information Arcade Electronic Classroom is available to be reserved for spring 2001. Priority will be given to instructors who submit requests before Aug. 30. The classroom features 24 networked Power Macintosh student workstations,
an instructors station equipped with both Macintosh- and Windows-based
computers, and more. Various levels of staff support are available to

workshop of the fall Women and Money Series, "Making your bank work
for you: Becoming an informed consumer of financial services," 6:30-8:30pm,
Aug. 31, in the Northwestern Room IMU. The workshop will offer women the
opportunity to learn about such subjects as opening checking or savings
accounts, checking account options, minimizing service charges, and consumer
rights as a bank or credit card customer. To register or for more information,

in seeking and securing employment. Departments are invited to use the
Dual Career Network to assist in recruiting efforts. For more information,

and Transportation IMU Ramp and Hospital Ramp 2 offices. Passes are discounted
$2 per month and may be payroll deducted on a pre-tax basis. For more
information, contact Parking and Transportation, (33)5-1475. The Friends of International Students (FIS) will hold a picnic noon-4pm, Aug. 27, in shelter 11 of City Park, with lunch at 1pm. Participants are asked to bring several dishes to share and table service. FIS especially invites anyone interested in becoming a friend to an international student. The students all have their own housing, but friends are asked to serve as family to an international student away from home, to have at least monthly contact with the student, and to include them in the holidays.
