Introduction to InfoHawk

The University Libraries will offer an Introduction to InfoHawk workshop at six different times this fall. These are hands-on workshops designed to help users learn how to use InfoHawk, the web-based library catalog system. Basic and advanced search features will be demonstrated. All sessions will be held in the Information Arcade classroom, first floor, Main Library.

Registration is required. To register, call (33)5-5299 or go to the Information Desk, first floor, Main Library. If fewer than six people are registered three days before the class, it will be canceled. Those who have registered should check with the Information Desk the day before the session to make sure it will be held.

Dates and times for the workshops are:

Sept. 14, 4 to 5 p.m.;

Sept. 25, 9 to 10 a.m.;

Oct. 10, 11 a.m. to noon;

Oct. 26, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.;

Nov. 6, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.; and

Nov. 14, 9 to 10 a.m.
