Committee seeks concerns, suggestions on campuswide diversity issues

The University Diversity Committee reports to President Coleman and is charged with serving as a conduit for information and concerns related to campus diversity, advising the President’s Council on Strategic Implementation on initiatives to support diversity goals, developing recommendations for improving the campuswide climate to support diversity, communicating initiatives to constituent groups, and soliciting views on proposals.

UI community members are invited to share with the committee issues of concern, including suggestions for enhancing diversity on campus. Individuals and organization members are welcome to visit with the committee during regularly schedule meetings. Contact Sue Buckley, committee chair, (susan-buckley@uiowa.edu) to arrange a meeting.
