Nominations sought for disability achievement award

In 1997, the Council on Disability Awareness established an Achievement Award Program, acknowledging efforts and achievements of individuals or organizations on campus for facilitating the integration and inclusion of persons with disabilities in campus life or within the community at large. The first award, given to Hancher Auditorium, was announced at the 1997 Public Forum on Disability. This year’s recipient will be announced during Martin Luther King Jr. Human Rights Week during a special presentation, 4-5pm, Jan. 17, 2001, in the South Room IMU. Below you will find the criteria, nomination information, and nomination procedures for this year. The deadline for submitting nominations is Dec. 22.
