Time to apply for staff spots on UI charter committees
Staff Council encourages staff to apply for staff member openings on University
charter committees. The deadline for applying for staff openings is March
15. Committees with openings include Campus Planning, Council on Teaching,
Family Issues, FRIC, Hancher Auditorium, Human Rights, Parking and Transportation,
Recreational Services, University Safety and Security, Faculty/Staff Parking
Appeals, and Board in Control of Athletics. Terms will begin in September
2002. Applications will be sent through campus mail in February. The form
and a description of each committee are available on-line at www.uiowa.edu/~stafcnsl.
