Bulletin Board WRAC group forms A discussion group called Hearts Desire begins July 9 at the Womens Resource and Action Center (WRAC). It will meet at WRAC from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays. The group helps women become aware of what they most desire in their lives and to work toward fulfilling those desires. There is no charge for group participation but a suggested donation of $10 for the entire group. For more information, call (33)5-1486.
Adults who are at risk for developing diabetes may receive a free risk assessment, fasting blood glucose test, lipid profile (cholesterol), and physicians recommendations for follow-up of test results. You are at risk to develop diabetes if you: have a family member with diabetes; are overweight; had diabetes during pregnancy; delivered a baby that weighed over 9 pounds; or are Native American or Hispanic.
