Want to know about health services available just to UI employees? Click on.

Since 1977, the University has maintained a clinic to provide certain health services to faculty and staff. Physically, the University Employees Health Clinic (UEHC) is located on the first floor of Boyd Tower. Virtually, look for it at www.uihealthcare.com/depts/employeehealthclinic/index.html.

You won’t find a site loaded with virtual reality panoramas, animation, or downloadable video clips: just solid information about the clinic’s location, hours, and range of services. These include a variety of immunizations and tests, vaccinations, TB testing and mask fitting, evaluation and treatment for bloodborne pathogen exposure, and wellness programs. In many cases, the site has separate links for UIHC employees and non-UIHC employees, as the available services may differ.

It’s a well-connected site, with links to other departments and services within UIHC, as well as many links to outside sites like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Iowa Department of Public Health.
