Beverly Folkedahl, advanced practice nurse, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, recipient of the Nurse of the Year award from the Iowa affiliate of the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Society.

Kirk L. Fridrich, professor of hospital dentistry, elected as a director to the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Forrest M. Holly Jr., professor of civil and environmental engineering, elected to a second consecutive two-year term as president of the International Association of Hydraulic Engineering and Research.
