Tom Carroll, lecturer in the Tippie College of Business, recipient of the prize for best paper at the 2002 Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance/KPMG Conference. Anna Dodonova, visiting assistant professor of finance, recipient of the Best Ph.D. Paper Award from the Northern Finance Association. Kirk Ferentz, head football coach, named National College Football Coach of the Year by the Associated Press, Coach of the Year by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, Division I-A Regional Coach of the Year by the American Football Coaches Association, and Big Ten Coach of the Year by both the media and the coaches.
