Korn/Ferry International of Dallas, Texas, an executive search firm, has been named to assist in the search. It is the same firm that brought Mary Sue Coleman to campus.
The committee's timeline begins with an August meeting to establish criteria for the search and lists of skills the new president must have. Korn/Ferry then will be asked to find candidates who match the criteria. Following off-campus interviews, the finalists will be selected and brought to campus for interviews. The committee selects the candidate it will recommend, and the decision is made by the Regents.
