• “Lobbying 101,” 1-5pm, Nov. 16, Lucas-Dodge Room, IMU, is part of the Social Change Training Series. Fee is $10. To register, call WRAC at (33)5-1486.

Safewalk now operating

If you feel unsafe walking late at night and would like someone to walk with you to your destination, call Safewalk.

Safewalk is a student-run volunteer organization that offers faculty, staff, and students an alternative to walking alone after dark. The service is available 8:30pm-2:30am, Sunday through Thursday, by calling (35)3-2500.

To volunteer for Safewalk, pick up an application in the Office of Student Life, 145 IMU. For more information, e-mail lucas-christain@uiowa.edu or visit www.uiowa.edu/~safewalk.
