Deadlines near for two fellowship programs from the provosts office Old Gold Summer Fellowships
The Old Gold Summer Fellowship Program is a developmental program for faculty on nine-month appointments that provides recipients with funding for summer work on an approved developmental project. Fellowships may be awarded to support research and creative activities and instructional development activities. Each fellowship is expected to result in at least one project for publication, exhibit, performance, or instructional use. For faculty who begin their UI appointments during or after the 2001-02 academic year, awards are fixed at $6,000. May Brodbeck Humanities Fellowship
The May Brodbeck Humanities Fellowship is a competitive award designed to encourage and support the study of language, linguistics, literature, philosophy, history, jurisprudence, criticism, and theory of the arts as well as humanistic aspects of the natural and social sciences. Each fellowship has a stipend of $15,000.
