Offices and Awards
Vern Duba, assistant professor in the College of Pharmacy, was elected chair of the libraries section of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy for 2007.
Office of University Relations-Publications won three awards in the 2006 38th Annual ADDY Awards competition, sponsored by the Advertising Federation of Cedar Rapids, for College of Engineering recruitment materials; the Illumine 2006 cover; and Illumine 2006 illustrations.
Christopher Squier, associate dean for research and graduate studies in the College of Dentistry, received an honorary membership to the British Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
Dale Wurster, dean emeritus and professor emeritus in the College of Pharmacy, was awarded the Takeru Higuchi Research Prize from the American Pharmacists Association.
