Classes are free unless otherwise noted. July 18, TuesdayProcure to Pay Training—9 a.m.-noon—This course provides an overview of the order and payment processes. Attendees will learn to complete an online Purchase Requisition (PReq) to outside vendors and will develop a better understanding of various voucher types. You also will learn how to obtain information from the Accounts Payable/Purchasing web pages and PReq System. Register by July 12. Workflow: The Electronic Envelope—11 a.m.-noon—A review of how to establish Workflow paths and required signatures in processing various online forms utilizing the Workflow system. At the end of this course you will be able to create and copy signature paths for particular forms and learn other administrative functions. Register by July 12. You will learn how to initiate forms within the Human Resources Transaction System as well as view relevant reports. Financial Well-Being: What Every Woman Should Know—noon-1 p.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m.—The National Center for Women and Retirement Research estimates that 80-90 percent of women will be in complete control of their finances at some point in their lives. Aug. 17, ThursdayTraveling on UI-Related Business—10 a.m.-noon—Everything you need to know about UI business travel, including a review of updated travel regulations, policies, and procedures, payment options, and how to process travel-related forms. This class is tailored primarily for support and administrative staff who are involved in making travel plans and reporting expenses, but it is also appropriate for UI travelers. Aug. 18, FridayProTrav Training—9-10:30 a.m.—This course will provide departmental staff instruction on reconciling their UI Procurement card, as well as obtaining out-of-pocket reimbursement for travel that has been done on behalf of the University using the online application. This class will train the user on the functionality of the ProTrav application and participants will have an understanding of the concept of One Tool, One Location, One Source. Register by Aug. 12. Aug. 22, TuesdayIntroduction to UI Accounting Reports—10:30 a.m.-noon—Anyone using financial reports from the UI accounting system will be interested in attending this class.
