Offices and Awards
Elizabeth Constantine, director of the Grant and Research Services Center in the College of Education, was elected president of the Iowa Chapter of the American Association of Grant Professionals.
John Fraser, director of the Executive MBA Program in the Tippie College of Business, was elected treasurer of the national Executive MBA Council’s Board of Trustees.
Dawn Gentsch, program associate with the Institute of Public Health Practice, was elected to a one-year term as the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) Speaker of the House and will serve on the SOPHE National Board.
Charmaine Kleiber, associate professor in the College of Nursing, earned the Edge Runner Award from the American Academy of Nursing.
Meridean Maas, professor in the College of Nursing, received the 2006 Doris Schwartz Gerontological Nursing Award from the Gerontological Society of America.

Carlette Washington-Hoagland, assessment and staff development coordinator at the University of Iowa Libraries, is among 20 librarians selected for the Association of Research Libraries Leadership and Career Development Program.
