Historic Children's Books

Books in UI Libraries’ children’s books collection range from the late 18th-
to the mid-20th century. Kept in Special Collections, they include books
illustrated by such notable illustrators as John Bewick, Kate Greenaway, and
Randolph Caldecott, as well as modern books that have won the Newbery and
Caldecott awards for their stories or illustrations.
