Hundreds dance to raise a million

University of Iowa students raised $1,030,428 during the 15th UI Dance Marathon that was held Feb. 6–7 in the Main Ballroom at the Iowa Memorial Union on the campus in Iowa City. More than 800 patients and family members cared for at University of Iowa Children's Hospital joined 1,320 dancers for the event. Over the past 15 years, UI Dance Marathon has raised more than $7.5 million to support pediatric oncology patients and their families.
