Kuhl House, home of the University of Iowa Press

In the Kuhl House on the University of Iowa campus, a small but energetic staff handles acquisitions, manuscript editing, and proofreading, design, production, and marketing for the University of Iowa Press. (Don't miss the profile on UI Press director Holly Carver.) Constructed around 1840 using limestone that was quarried nearby, the Kuhl House is the oldest house still standing in Iowa City.
