Offices and Awards

John Casko, professor of orthodontics in the College of Dentistry, received the 2008 Louise Ada Jarabak Memorial International Teachers and Research Award from the American Association of Orthodontists.

Herbert Hovenkamp, professor in the College of Law, has been named the recipient of the 2008 John Sherman Award from the U.S. Department of Justice.

Hualing Nieh Engle, professor emerita and cofounder of the University of Iowa International Writing Program, has been selected for induction to the Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame.
