Offices and Awards

William Field, professor of occupational and environmental health and epidemiology in the College of Public Health, was recently selected as one of the final four reviewers for the Agency for Toxic Substances & Disease Registry’s Toxicological Profile on Radon.

George Weiner, director of the UI Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, has been selected to serve on the Operational Efficiency Working Group of the National Cancer Institute's Clinical Trials Working Group.

Derek Willard, special assistant to the president for governmental relations and associate vice president for research, received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges' Council on Governmental Affairs.
