Hubbard Award nominations due

The Human Rights Committee is seeking nominations for the Philip G. Hubbard Human Rights Award.

The award is presented each spring to a UI student who has made the most outstanding contribution in the area of human rights. It consists of a plaque and a $1,500 scholarship applied toward educational costs.

Nominations should be submitted to the Human Rights Committee, 249 IMU, no later than noon on March 2. The award recipient will be announced at the annual Finkbine Dinner on April 17. For a detailed brochure on the award, as well as a nomination form, visit the Office of the Vice President for Student Services, 249 IMU, or call (33)5-3557.
