Faculty Handbook on-line
The handbook, which had not been revised since 1997, has been thoroughly revamped to take full advantage of current technology. The table of contents leads the reader to brief descriptions of University policies, procedures, services, and resources related to teaching, research, and professional service, as well as cultural and recreational opportunities and other items of interest to faculty. The individual sections also provide electronic links to hundreds of sites with additional information and source documents.
Due to the new handbook’s reliance on web-based information, it
will no longer exist as a printed booklet. The Office of the Provost encourages
faculty input on ways to improve and enhance the handbook. Send comments
