Joel Sheesley
is an artist who lives in the Chicago suburb of Glen Ellyn. For many
years his painting has addressed different aspects of the geographical
and social worlds in which he resides. His work is represented by
Wood Street Gallery in Chicago, and Robert Kid Gallery in Birmingham,
Michigan. His paintings have also been exhibited widely in college
and university galleries and competitive exhibitions. Joel Sheesley
is a teacher of art and has taught at Wheaton College since 1974.
He and his wife, Joan, have three grown children.
