Facts, Fictions, and Future Challenges"

John Witte is a graduate of Calvin College and Harvard Law School and is the Jonas Robitscher Professor of Law and Ethics and the Director of the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at the School of Law at Emory University. He has received many awards for his teaching and research in the area of religion and law, and has edited and authored numerous books and articles, as well as directing many national research projects in these areas. A 2005 recipient of a grant from the John Templeton Foundation, Professor Witte has also lectured in numerous universities in the U.S., his native Canada, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
