I am an M.A. candidate in German Linguistics and Literature. My current specialization is German Linguistics. Before I transferred to the University of Iowa I did graduate work in German Linguistics and Literature, Political Science and Journalism (one major, two minors) at the University of Leipzig in Germany. My current research interests include language history, language change and dialectology. I am also interested in Old High German and Middle High German literature. In addition to my graduate work, I work as a Teaching Assistant in the German Department, where I have taught first- and second-year courses in German. In the future I will finish my M.A. work and continue at the University of Iowa as a Ph.D. candidate in German Linguistics.
