Research Projects:

 

Rapid synthesis of high-nitrogen content carbon nitrides including metal-doped systems; synthesis of triazine-based molecular precursors to C3N4 materials including bulk powders and thin films.

 

Current:  Dr. Miller is a postdoctoral researcher at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D. C.

 

 

 

 

Dr. Jianjun Wang

B.Eng. (1988), M.S. (1993), and Ph.D. (1997) in Materials Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology, Beijing, China

 

Joined the group after postdoctoral research with Prof. Bica de Moraes at the State University of Campinas in Brazil.

Research Projects:

 

Characterization of nanoscale metal nitrides, synthesis and characterization of carbon nitride powders and films.

 

Dr. Wang was a visiting scientist working with Prof. Holloway in the Applied Sciences Department at the College of William and Mary from 2004 - 2006. 

Current:  Dr. Wang is now a CVD process engineer at Intel Corp. in Chandler, AZ
