PROFILE: MARK J. BRAUN

Mark J. Braun joined the Board of Regents staff in September 2004, having served six years at the University of Iowa in a state governmental relations position.

He is currently assigned to the University of Iowa and serves as a primary public affairs and legislative contact for the Board of Regents, State of Iowa.

He has served as a staff member for the Iowa State Senate, and a staff member for Congressman Jim Nussle. He received his B.A. in political science from the University of Iowa and his B.S. in public administration from Upper Iowa University.
