Former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Tip O'Neil said "All politics is local." Local constituents contacting their elected officials have more impact on decision making than any other form of political activity.

As an advocate, you can help support and explain issues impacting the UI with elected officials. You can also participate in your community by speaking with local leaders and organizations.
We encourage you to become a part of the UI's statewide advocacy network and look forward to hearing from you.
