List Serve and Bulletin Board Information

GraDykes maintains a listserve for communication between members. This is our primary method of group communication. We do not maintain any type of telephone list. We have a new LGBT Community Forum called "Our Word". Sign up and become connected. It is a closed forum, so in order to view any of its offerings, you will need to register.

The List Serve

We use the list serve resource in a variety of ways, including:

• planning and announcing group events
• announcing personal events  (like art shows of work, publishing successes, vocal recitals, concert performances, etc.)
• announcing community events that might be of interest to each other
• passing along local or national news and information or job opportunities that might be of interest to our community
• anything else that a member thinks might interest members of the group

To subscribe to the listserve, email Kelly and request to be added, or you can add us through the U of I listserve mainframe. Your request will require approval via the list manager.

Please note: This list is a closed list. That means all subscribers must go through the list-owner (a volunteer of GraDykes) to get on the list and the list owner may remove any subscriber for abuse or offensive actions on the listserve. A list of subscribers is not available to the general public, nor is it available to the membership. We keep the list closed to protect ourselves and maintain a safe environment for our group.
