Team Members: The majority of our members are University of Iowa undergraduate students. In addition, we also welcome graduate students, UI faculty and staff, as well as local residents with a passion for water polo. All members must be 18 years of age or older or must have parental consent to participate. However, in order to be eligible to participate at Big Ten Tournaments or NCAA Tournaments you must be a registered undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Iowa. Many of our new members have backgrounds in high school, club, and/or NCAA water polo; some have competitive swimming or life guarding backgrounds; some just love the water. No water polo experience is necessary to join, however we do require all members to be in good physical health and must be able to swim and tread water in deep water for sustained periods of time.
