The Department, in cooperation with Global Health Studies, welcomes Wendy Kline. Her first book, Building a Better Race: Gender, Sexuality, and Eugenics from the Turn of the Century to the Baby Boom (2001) examines the intersections between moral reform, sexuality, and the American eugenics movement of the 1920s. Kline is currently researching the impact of Our Bodies, Our Selves on women’s attitudes about health and feminism.
