The Iowa Historical Review is
accepting articles for potential publication. Papers should be
between ten and thirty pages, but exceptions will be made for senior
honors theses. All papers should be based on original research. Reviews of
historical books and films will also be accepted.
You do not need to be a history
major or minor to submit a paper.
To be considered for
publication, please email your paper as an attachment to
iowa-history@uiowa.edu.
Please include the following
on a separate page:

Your name
-
Your institution
- Name of professor and title of
course for which the paper was written
- Proper citation, including a
bibliography and endnotes
- Title of paper
Proper format:
The review process:
The editorial board will read each submission
and contact the author after deciding whether to publish or reject the
submission. Some modification by the author may be required for
